Seven years in, I still do both halves of the job. I draw the interface, I build it, and I build the thing behind it. Teams bring me in when the work sits between design and engineering and they would rather not split it across two people.
Booking, commerce, conferencing, games. Different problems, and in every one of them I did the design, the frontend and the server behind it.
A conferencing platform with podcast recording built in. Rooms carry live video and audio for up to a thousand participants, a real-time chat sidebar alongside the call, and recording that archives each session for playback afterwards. The media layer runs on Mediasoup so streams route through a server instead of peer to peer, which is what keeps large rooms stable. I led a team of three and we shipped the first release in two months.
A marketing site for a Lagos print studio covering packaging, merchandise, large format and vehicle branding. Each service opens into its own detail view, the production process is laid out step by step, and a 3D product preview lets a visitor turn a box around before ordering. The quote request is a multi-step wizard that collects artwork, quantity and deadline up front, so the studio has the brief before the first reply.
A brand I made up and then built: MARQUEE, a celebration house running weddings, milestones and homecomings out of Lagos with offices in Accra, Dakar and London. The site sells commissions the way the business would, with the five-step process laid out, four past rooms, the team, published price minimums and straight answers to the six questions clients actually ask. The interactive moment lets you type a name onto the marquee sign and watch the bulbs come up. Everything on it, the name, the voice, the pricing and the site, is mine, and the footer says plainly that the company is fictional.
A booking flow for furnished short-let apartments in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Visitors browse by city, open a listing to see the rooms and what is included, pick dates against an availability calendar and send a request. Apartments are checked before they go up, and the site explains that verification step rather than asking anyone to take it on trust.
Tetris written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no framework anywhere in it. Collision detection, piece rotation with wall kicks, a hold slot, a three-piece next queue, a ghost piece showing where the current one will land, hard drop, rising levels and high scores kept in local storage. The goal mode clears forty lines. There is no page to scroll here, so the recording is the game being played, and your scroll drops the pieces.
An image generator built on the OpenAI image API. You write a prompt, it returns an image, and you can publish it to a shared gallery or download it. The gallery is searchable, so the prompts other people wrote double as a starting point for your own.

Most briefs need all three. Hiring one person for them is usually faster than coordinating three.
